Following the decision of the Maratha Reservation, the state government has started taking steps to start recruitment of mega recruitment. As part of this, the government has sent a proposal to the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPPSC) to fill up 302 seats in 12 different categories of government services, and its advertisement will be published soon. According to the sources, the process of finalizing the 34,000 seats in the first phase of Mega Bharti has been taken into consideration. There are efforts to fill this space till February 2019.
