1. Principal (Group-A):- UPPER AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 50 years.
2. Assistant Commissioner (Group-A):- UPPER AGE LIMIT: 45 years.
3. Assistant (Group-C):- UPPER AGE LIMIT: Between 18 to 30 years.
4. Computer Operator (Group-C):- UPPER AGE LIMIT: Between 18 to 30 years.
5. Post Graduate Teacher (PGTs) (Group-B):- UPPER AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 40 years

2. Assistant Commissioner (Group-A):- Level -11 (Rs.67700-208700) in the Pay Matrix
3. Assistant (Group-C):- Level -6 (Rs.35400-112400) in the Pay Matrix
4. Computer Operator (Group-C):- Level-4 (Rs.25500-81100) in the Pay Matrix
5. Post Graduate Teacher (PGTs) (Group-B):- Level-8 (Rs.47600-151100) in the Pay Matrix
Educational Qualification for Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Recruitment 2019:
1. Principal (Group-A):- Master Degree from recognized university with at-least 50% marks in aggregate/ B. Ed or equivalent teaching degree.
2. Assistant Commissioner (Group-A):- Graduate Degree from a recognized University/ Holding analogous post on regular basis OR With 8 years service in the Level 7 (Rs.44900-142400) in the Pay Matrix./ Possessing experience of handling Administrative/Financial matters in a responsible capacity in Central/State Govt./Autonomous/Statutory Organization
3. Assistant (Group-C):- Degree from a recognized University/ Knowledge of Computer Operation
4. Computer Operator (Group-C):- Degree from a recognized Institution/University/ Skill in word-processing & data entry with a one year Computer Diploma from a recognized Institution.
5. Post Graduate Teacher (PGTs) (Group-B):- Two Year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR Master's Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects
