Age Limit:-

1. For Professor 50 years
2. For Associate Professor 45 years
3. For Assistant Professor 37 years (SC/ST 5 Years relaxation)

Educational Qualification for IIPS Recruitment 2019:

1. Professor: (i) Ph.D  ((ii) Experience of having successfully guided the student for the Award of PhD degree in Population Studies and/or at least 10 publications out of which 5 should be in peer-reviewed journals in the area of Public Health & Mortality.
2. Associate Professor: (i) Ph.D  (ii) 08 years experience
3. Assistant Professor: A Master’s degree in Population Studies /Bio-Medical Science/ Environmental Science or in any Social Sciences subject listed in ICSSR Statistics/ Mathematics with specialization in Population Studies with atleast 55% of marks or equivalent grade at the Master’s degree level. Candidates, besides fulfilling the above qualifications should have cleared the National eligibility test for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
